“Samurai’s Ghost” by Master Carver Tegal. This design was inspired by a Balinese Raksasa Founder, Made D, who lived and studied in Japan for several years. This Japanese legend reveals a Samurai Warrior’s fiercest challenges in the Polarity of Opposites. To fight an enemy in battle, a Samurai also becomes the enemy. By engaging in dark magic as a servant of Death, a Samurai will also be haunted by his or her enemy’s Ghost. To prepare for the trauma of horror to the mind and spirit as a Samurai or Onna-Bugeisha, they must practice consciousness beyond the sword. Love of Self, Gratitude for Life, Devotion to the Gods, Sacrifice for Community, are the most powerful Meditations of Light. Samurai’s train for both realms of consciousness, as spells of Death can create madness when out of balance.  Through Meditations of Healing, a Samurai’s greatest Sorcery is instilling peace, before plans of war ever arise. Their sword is only drawn when Meditations have not been properly sharpened. However, a Samurai’s greatest challenge lies in the unavoidable Paradox: As deep as the Dark, is as great as the Light. Frequencies travel in balanced waves. A Samurai’s path to Zen, will be as haunted as it is beautiful, as enlightened as it will be scarred. The intensity of each wave crest is dependent on the other. Master Carver Tegal believes this Japanese Legend is very similar to Raksasa’s of Bali. While often confused as dark demons for their terrifying appearance to humans, Raksasa’s are the “Samurai” Guardians of the Inner World of Balinese Temples. As Shape Shifters and Master Illusionists, Raksasa’s frequencies are shaped by Meditations of higher consciousness. Tegal believes a Warrior can find his or her “Taksu,” or a state of Zen with one’s angels and ghosts, through offerings of communion and respect, where two become one. Power flows when the heart leads, the mind free to follow.  Ignite your spirit with the legend of “Samurai’s Ghost.”
